Organizational Focus Overiew

The United Nations Chaplains Association (UNCA)  is a private organization founded in 2016 committed to promoting social and economic development, disaster management, and leadership engagement throughout the continental United States and the Caribbean.  UNCA members are respected and recognized across the wide spectrum of local and federal government agencies, religious organizations, hospitals, and businesses. Designed and proctored by Camden University and Graduate School of Theology (Camden), UNCA’s certification and designation programs provide members with leading educational resources to provide progressive solutions to the most complex situation.

The UNCA offers its members with the resources and accountability needed to positively and tangibly impact their surroundings in 4 distinct disciplines:

  1. Disaster Management: the UNCA deploys Rapid Response Team (RRT) members with practical strategies to support communities in need during natural and human-made disasters. Certified UNCA members partner with community leaders, elected officials, law enforcement, and disaster relief agencies to develop streamlined initiatives for leveraging multiple unrelated agencies and resources in responding to disasters. The UNCA’s Disaster Response and Relief program is the cornerstone of the agency.

      2. Crisis Counseling & Intervention: the UNCA deploys members with practical strategies for supporting the spiritual and

emotional health of those who have experienced traumatic events. Certified UNCA members partner with community leaders,

law enforcement, and disaster relief agencies to develop streamlined initiatives for the enhancement of spiritual and emotional

          care.

3.Societal Reinstatement & Development: the UNCA deploys members with practical strategies for supporting criminal

offenders in transitioning back into their communities as productive citizens. Certified UNCA members partner with community

leaders, elected officials, and rehabilitation centers to develop streamlined initiatives for the enhanced quality of life for those

          reinstating into society.

      4. Social & Economic Redevelopment: the UNCA deploys members with practical strategies to support communities in

need for economic development/re-development. Certified UNCA members partner with community leaders, elected officials,

and corporations to develop streamlined initiatives for the enhancement of educational, social and economic opportunities within

          defined regions.
